Hi, I desperately need to get the data from this drive. I’m guessing that the PCB has died but nothing seems to have burned out. I tried another WD PCB and the drive spins but obviously is not readable without the correct PCB. Other info on the drive is as follows: Date: 31 Jul 2004, DCM: HSCACTJAA, on the PCB itself: 2060-001266-001 REV A, on the Barcode: 2061-701265-200 AL XC1X68 AWBY 6 0005380 6385. I have changed the pcb with this one WD1600BB-00GUA0 DCM DSCHNTJAH PCB 2061-001265-200 AK I made some irreparable mistake? because i searched for a drive with only this spec WD1600BB-00GUA0 without worryng about DCM and number on the pcb ?? The hd now awake , but the system operator not recognize it before changing the pcb the hd not awake , did nothing I have still the chance to recover my data ??? ( all digital photos from 2000 until the last summer !!!!!!!! ((
