Hello, I try to replace a USB PCB 771737 by a SATA PCB according to tsacelaboratorycom/indexphp?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/33/15/list-of-compatible-sata-pcb-for-25-usb-drives I can use either 701692 or 771692 When I see the USB PCB, I can see 2 ROM but the SATA PCB coes have only 1 ROM (see photos) The USB PCB contain U8 & U12 chip but SATA PCB contain only U12 which is smaller than the U12 of the USB PCB (looks like the U8 chip) Any solution to make teh replacement

Hi,Please I need help with a WD10TMVV-11tk7s1 (helios), I swap the u12 chip of usb pcb to sata pcb (771692) then I see slow responding problem and I applied the pc3k solution. after that I lost the model, SN, etc. I started with loader and all modules are OK. Do you know antoher solution? The drive spin ok and with loader i can read all SA, everything looks ok but I have no data.regards!!!

Q: SATA Match for USB Board 771737

I have a WD10TMVW with the above USB board. The matching guide says 771692 is a match, but the ROM is not the same size. Clients ROM is 512, ROM on board is 256. Physically swapping the ROM does not work. I see some people recommend 701692 for the 512 ROM, but from what I can see they are not commercially available.Any ideas of a board that will work?
